Purchased at the Goffs Premier Yearling Sale. A very taking colt by the late Fast Company, who was a top class 2-y-o and an assured influence for speed at stud.
His progeny include Irish 1000 Guineas winner Jet Setting, Arlington Million victor Robert Bruce and Royal Ascot 2yo winner Baitha Alga.
The dam, Northern Affair, has already produced an BHA 89-rated filly by Big Bad Bob, but Fast Company represents a significant sire upgrade.
He's a perfect fit too being a son of DANEHILL DANCER - which is a proven high class cross with the family. The dam's Group 1 performing half-sister Wild Wind also being by Danehill Dancer.
Such a strong, well-bred, athletic yearling it would be no surprise to see him line up at Royal Ascot in 2021, or contest races like the Weatherby's Super Sprint or Redcar 2yo Trophy (won by Keith with a similar type in 2018).
He's in great hands too with Keith Dalgleish at Carluke in Scotland, who has previously trained two Group placed 2-y-o's for the same connections in CLEM FANDANGO and MISS BAR BEACH.
The colt has the genes, the sire and the looks to make a cracking 2-y-o. We're thrilled to have a stake in him and he's very good value too. Highly recommended.
Please note the colt is a 'rig', with one undescended testicle. This may affect fertility - hopefully not as there a one good in place.
