This very taking, athletic son of top class Group 1 sprinter Equiano was purchased for 62,000 Euro at the 2019 Tattersalls Ireland yearling sale.

The colt completed some very impressive work at home in 2020, before suffering an injury that put paid to his 2-y-o season.

If You Dare is now fully recovered and back in training, limbering up for his all-important 3-y-o season. We expect him to debut in late Feb or March 2021.

The colt has real presence and scope, without being too big in any department. He has a wonderful frame that oozes athleticism and has always been a 3-y-o in the making.

The dam, Love Action, is out of Listed winning mare Speciale and has already produced two 90 RPR progeny, including Hidden Affair - a full brother to this colt - who won races at Goodwood and Newmarket before being sold to Hong Kong.

Our colt is a more imposing individual than Hidden Affair and his work at home last year showed touches of class.

We don't know how high he can fly yet, but it would surprise no one if he proved to be a 100+ animal at 3-y-o and beyond.

Having had time to mature and fill out, with quality top and bottom of the pedigree and a talented full brother, we can't wait to see what he can do in 2021.
